Talk about a biased article. He is paid by ODU. Literally almost everything in that article could be said about Charlotte.

Harry was in the tank for ODU even when he was at the Pilot. David Scott could be put on the AD payroll and still mush-mouth our program on the air and in print. I think he resents being our beat writer, because it’s beneath him.

Harry is no longer the beat writer for ODU. He was hired directly by ODU when the newspaper laid him off

FWIW, Minium’s departure from the Pilot was announced as a retirement. Of course, could have been forced but he did spend 39 years with the newspaper so gotta think it was probably voluntary. Anyway, definitely helps ODU to have someone who was already very knowledgeable about the program.
If Minium was laid off it was probably a money thing. He would have been a high cost reporter and newspapers are shedding them.
Has anyone from the school or athletic department made any comment concerning possible joining of the AAC. Is this just wishful dreaming on our part?

I dont think we will see anyone go on record with the AAC dreams, but suffice it to say they are doing whatever they need to do to make our case.
