I think the PAC has gotten caught flat footed.
They were not proactive and now their suffering and on the brink.
Have to agree with recent assessment that if B10 had really wanted Oregon and Washington would have taken them at the same time as the LA schools. Of course, I know well enough to expect anything.

The PAC got hooked on those ESPN millions and didnāt realize that they had to adapt to keep up. They thought they were running a ridiculously overpaid amateur multi-sports league, and didnāt realize they were a for-profit branch of Disney.

Google, Amazon or Apple may get into the game, like they have with Pro Sports rights, lets seeā¦. West Coast companies, but lets see that would be a best case scenario for the PAC
Streaming has been involved, but IMHO thatās a horrible option. Especially if itās not a sports centric streamer like ESPN+.
Look at all the MLS fans unhappy with being on Apple+. The production values are good, but no one likes that the games all run concurrently, and no casual fans are on Apple to watch MLS. Really restricts the watch pool to just hardcore fans, and limits growth opportunities.
Linear TV is where itās at for College sports. Itās the lifeblood.

Good points, but they all now have Live Platforms not just On-demand.
So for example Google Youtubes $2b+ per year for NFL Sunday ticket adding some more live, like PAC Tier 1 for $50m/yr is not material from a cost perspective but may attract more subsā¦
So PAC on Friday, Saturday, NFL out of market Sunday may make a lot of sense.
Well if Wash and Oregon go to the B1G, the B1G will fill that role 
I would put money on the B1G still has ND as its first choice. Once ND says no, then it will move on to the next set.
I think adding USCal might help draw in ND. Their rivalry is bigger than any other that ND has.
Agreed Notre Dame is the dream add but I thought Notre Dame has already said they have no intention of joining a conference.
My guess is they will not join until their forced to. Which I assume would only be by a P5 breakaway which requires a certain number of conferences with a certain number of teams.
As long as ND has access to the title they arenāt going to join a league IMO

Good post. For our current situation I have loved plus. But problem is, letās say you want to go to a bar and watch. Or a restaurant. You donāt have that option with streaming. I am hoping the AAC can keep up and have games on network/cable tv.
Best plan is to secretly cast from your phone to bar tv without asking
