Actually, this particular article is in the Observer… FINALLY.
Of course, I’m sure this article is buried on the back page with some kind of lead-in that says it’s for 49er fans only. It’s still better than nothing.

Golf team is playing in a warmup tournament in Georgia right before NCAA’s. They are in 2nd place, behind top ranked and defending national champion Georgia. Got the invite at the beginning of the year because they were expected to be a top team. Not disappointing so far. Lead UNC and FSU by 6 strokes with one round to play. Most impressive tournament website I have ever seen.

GREAT NEWS!
Murphy shot a 33 on the front nine and is now leading by 3 at 7 under. Team is still second. Impressive!
Is the new practice facility going to be built on campus or at Rocky River?

Murphy won the tournament on the second play-off hole!!! He’s a Sophomore. These guys are really impressive.
