Good reminder of why I never rushed a frat. Have good friends that did & didn’t but I’ve never regretted it or felt like I missed anything….especially not the hot sauce on genitals part.
Had a good friend from high school who did his undergrad work at Wake. Can’t remember which frat he joined but he and fellow pledges were blindfolded and driven to Virginia and then left roadside in the middle of the night to make their way back to W-S. Since this was the late 1970s, no cell phones.
I didn’t either. I never responded well to things like that. Call it a character flaw
