Speaking of Dakota, her father was a guest of Jimmy Kimmel last night. Latter showed this photo of a then 25 year old Don Johnson (far right) with Allman Brothers Band members Chuck Leavell (far left) and Dickie Betts backstage with Jimmy Carter in 1975.
Saw Leavell with his side project Sea Level in the Rowe Building on campus in the late 70s. Remember chatting with bassist Lamar Williams - who replaced the late Berry Oakley in the ABB - after the show. Sadly, Williams would also pass away just a few years later as well.
