Damn, I remember when breaking the 4 minute mark was unthinkable!
I vaguely recollect being able to run sub-6 minute miles during 5K races, which I havenât participated in since my children were in elementary school (both are in their 30s now).
These days the goal is to get across the finish line for whatâs usually a 4-miler or an 8K when I do sign up to pound the pavement.
