Understood, but if it was here I couldn’t take my kids to the movies on a Friday night. Bummer.
Speaking of movies - went to see Antman (i totally enjoyed it) and the theater down at Arsley has stopped even checking for tickets. I bought my tickets online and walked right in. Is this happening other places?

Yep. Bad apples about to close down another mall at Northlake like they did Eastland. Apple announced they are closing their location there just after yet another shooting this week at that mall.

I saw that about Northlake. They were one of the last destination retailers at that mall. Most of the others had left, though I guess they still have an H&M for now (is that store even relevant anymore?). If you had asked me 10 years ago which mall would survive between Northlake and Concord Mills I wouldn’t have been sure. But now it seems like Northlake is on an Eastland like slow death march. Sucks.
I think Birkdale is aiming to try to replace Northlake though that cannot happen without major build out. And all that will do is attract the same element that ruined Northlake.
Also, everytime I go to the movies they scan my tickets. But I have to admit the number of theaters I feel comfortable going to drops every few years. Last time I went to Stonecrest it had a not great vibe.

My son and I went to see Ant-Man at Arsley too. Bought tix at concession stand. Same - no ticket checker when we walked in.
It’s just one theater. There are several others. No that big a deal, imo.
