The Tour De France has banned from the race several notable cyclists because they were CHARGED by the Spanish Gov’t.
Never mind that they haven’t tested positive.
Never mind innocent until proven guilty.
The Tour De France is a farce against all believers in liberty! Have they already forgotten Bastille Day, July 14th? It’s only 13 days from now for the Frenchies. It’s their version of the 4th of July.
Even the cycling companies are firing cyclists from their contracts without a conviction or a positive drug test.
One company’s spokesman said that their cyclists had to prove their innocence. The last time I checked no one has to prove their innocence, you have to prove their guilt.

In court, that is true. In sports, not necessarily.
It also may or may not be that way in some other countries. They’re not Americans. Some countries side more toward “the police are right”. Think about the Dutch system you saw in the Natalie Holloway case - they held the Arubian boys without a lot of evidence for a long time, and only had to show more evidence to keep them longer and longer (not lay everything out in advance).
Well this is interesting. They have a murder mystery show on A&E about Ray Carruth. You remember Ray Carruth, the American footballer from our very own Panthers. After posting bail, he was told not to leave Charlotte. After Sharika Adams passed away, and Ray’s bond was revoked, he was no where to be found. The Panthers cleaned out his locker and he was suspended from the NFL indefinitely. Yet he had not been found guilty yet. Sure running away doesn’t make him look very innocent, but that does not completely prove his guilt. So it happens over here too.
Huggins Theory: A player charged with any crime is eligible until proven guilty or until the season is over, whichever comes first.
i’m so tired of hearing about steriods. at this point, i wouldn’t care if they found the president with a needle in ass.
that’s basically saying you can go over there and accuse any athlete of a crime and have them fired.
How many of you have criticized Barry Bonds despite the fact that he has never been convicted?

I have never publicly criticized him, but I’m asking this because I do hold a grudge, hasn’t it been proved that he did use them?
