i just watched a youtube video of him and a couple writeups from google. he sounds like exactly what we need. 6’8", long, athletic and can shoot.

2011 Class:

6’8 DaShawn Stitt, Phoebus HS of Hampton, VA: I really liked this young man. He is a long and active wing with very good athleticism. Outside of being a tremendous player on the court, he is an outstanding young man. I loved the way Stitt played the game. He played so hard on both ends of the court. He also ran the floor extremely well. He has a tremendous upside. (Shown on video clip) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2Md7Gnj9uU

DaShawn Stitt (Phoebus HS, VA) 6′8 (PF) Class of 2011Stitt was one of the most impressive prospects at this eventshowcasing his ability to run the floor like a deer and finish stronginside. He also altered or blocked many shots on the defensive end. Heplayed aggressive throughout the camp and also showed his ability toplay with his back to the basket along with his athleticism to go upand catch anything near the rim and dunk it. He has a ton of upside tohis game.

i’d love to have a guy that can go up and dunk it. we need another charlie coley type player, but one that can shoot too. this guys seems like a good find so far.

I’d love to finally have a SF with good size.

going to Hampton Univ.
