Post-game celebration at the beginning of this video is something to behold. I can’t even make fun of how excited this team is to have won against a non-school. It’s sad, really. But I guess that’s where the Davidson football program is right now; it probably is a big deal for some of these kids who haven’t won a game since 2012, and only 6 total since 2011. In fact, I’ll go ahead and congratulate them on their big victory. Bless their hearts.
Many a Niner Basketball fan has lamented about our departure from the A10 to play in a basketball depleted CUSA. I think we all understood that it was a step backward in basketball to ensure the health of football.
After watching this, I cant help but wonder if this could have been the future of Niner Football if we had stayed in the A10 for all sports but football while leaving football FCS independent.

I am studing the CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) through CFFP (the College For Financial Planning.) If CFFP had a FB team, I’m sure Davidson would schedule them. :o

I hope somebody is over on the Davidson board giving them hell about this. I have no problem with the non school itself. Whatever, they are responsible for themselves and who gives a damn but for a school with the resources of Davidson College to play a team like this, that’s just ridiculous. They should be suspended from NCAA competition for that. Just pathetic.
I hope with my entire being that they go winless in the A10 this year. More than they deserve.
