Dayton sets NCAA 3-point miss record (0-24)

Dayton broke a 13-year-old record for 3-point shooting futility on Friday against Auburn -- and the Flyers still won.In a 60-59 overtime win in the Chicago Invitational Challenge, Dayton went 0-for-24 on attempts from 3-point range. That broke the previous NCAA record of 0-for-22, set by Canisius against St. Bonaventure on Jan. 21, 1995.

whooo the A-10 is having such a fantastic year - at least their coach can still win games in hard times.

:lmao:

They may have the record but we are more consistant.

That’s pretty impressive

Damn I thought forsure we owned that record… Bobbys gonna be pissed now!

Holy crap, they still won?? Awesome!!!

UNCG is at Dayton tonight. Was looking at FG%. They are shooting 41% and 29% from the 3 and are 9-1.

It’s called playing good M2M Defense, and having 4-5 guys that can get to the rim. Oh, and of course, rebounding, Dayton has a ton of athletes so rebounding is an obvious plus with that.
