De'Angelo Williams = Winner

Damnit. I have now listened to this fathead redneck twice this week. Once out of morbid curiousity and now today when a coworker called my cell to tell me Fudge had De’Angelo Williams on. We give Tiger High fans some crap, but this kid is absolutely money. Easily the most likeable 1st round draft pick we’ve had in years, maybe ever. I hope he can play as well as we expect, because personality wise, he’s great. He’s as down to earth and as well spoken as you could want. (He killed me talking about buying a house - “I’m not flashy like other players. I don’t like spending money. When I bought my house, that hurt me.” That was great, especially the way he said hurt. He also said it was an honor just to suit up for us, and he’s ready to work for his chance. This kid is a winner. He’s small, but I refuse to believe someone with that kind of attitude will fail. I just can’t see it.

Nice dichotomy between him and the host. Couldn’t be more polar opposites.

The kid is genuine. He’ll use his $7.5 million for good causes (and hopefully a kickback to UofM).

What a kick return. It now justifies my going absolutely nuts when we drafted him in the 1st round.

Great return. They should never put him on special teams again. He’s too important because Foster is too fragile.

Nice thought, but he WILL be the kick returner this season. Jamal Robertson will get cut… Having him back there is better than having Steve Smith or Chris Gamble…he’s a backup on a fairly deep running back roster…

You just contradicted yourself.

Great performance by the former Tiger last night.

Hate where he went to college, hate their fans (squid excluded) but love this kid. I was at the game last night and the two dolphin fans in front of me were just dumbfounded at his speed.

That’s too bad. We’re good folks.

Never heard of anyone hating a university before, I’ve heard of hating fans, coaches, players, etc. Hating an entire university is a tall trick to pull…and a heavy burden to carry around.

Cheers from where real BBQ is home.

Some of you.

It happens more than you might think. HOwever mine is just an extension of my detest for many of your fans.

You’d be surprised at how easy it is where Mempiss is concerned.

Rendezvous is the best ribs I’ve ever had. That and Beale St. are why my hate doesn’t extend to the city.

Yeah…I was there as well, and there were a pack of dudes in Dolphins jerseys in front of me who just couldn’t get over how fast this kid is.

Who is faster Deangelo Williams or Marcus Vick…

hahahah

there were many times last night when i couldnt believe the moves he was making…some of the quickest and unlikely cuts…and the return…gah the kid is fast. those cuts to the outside near the endzone scared me at first…but i couldnt believe he got around both people and the one guy got lucky and tripped him up…still, to make a cut back all the way around the opposite end…crazy.
