It’s an analogy. He was saying that Clifton Smith should apologize for being the victim. A victim shouldn’t have to apologize for being a victim. Maybe Clifton made a mistake by not calling for a fair catch, but he doesn’t deserve a concussion for that.
Rape vrs Fair catch?
Sorry- don’t see the analogy at all.

Whats worse? Making an any analogy between sports and rape…
…or trying to argue with SCK?

It’s not rape vs. fair catch. In both situation a person was made a victim. In one of the situations SCK suggests that the victim should have apologized for allowing themselves to be a victim. I was posing the question of if he feels that all victims should apologize for allowing themselves become victims. And BTW, fair catch or not it was an illegal hit. If this is done outside of football it would be felony assault.

Not making an analogy between sports and rape. I am making an analogy between two different situations where a person is victimized. It’s not like I said something like, “I totally got raped playing Halo.” Which is something I hear people say all the time.
Try and villafy me all you want. I know what I was saying and I don’t feel bad about it, because in no way did I feel I was making light of rape. Is rape worse? Of course it is.
Anyways, quit changing the subject in order to get to your moral highground.

Well, haha, yeah, I guess you’re right. But I didn’t mean it like that. What I meant was he did something that was vicious, uncalled for, and out of line, which would get you thrown in jail in a normal circumstance.
I still don’t think it was a dirty play. A bone head play yeah. Stupid play Yeah. Dirty no. There are many ways to be a dirty play and he has never done any of them that I have seen.
My main issue was his conduct AFTER the hit.
