Freshman, 6-4, G, Charlotte, N.C.
Dorn had a big road series for the 49ers, recording his first career double-double and his first career 20-point scoring game at WKU. Dorn scored a career-best 26 points (10-for-16 from the field and 2-for-3 from beyond the three-point line) and grabbed 10 rebounds against the Hilltoppers. In Charlotte’s 77-72 win at Marshall Saturday, he tallied his 10th double-figure scoring game with 12 points. For the week, he shot 57.7 percent from the field while averaging 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds. This is Dorn’s second career C-USA Freshman of the Week honor (Dec. 1, 2014).[/size][/font]
