Devan Downey a 5-10, 160 lb PG from Chester, SC has commited to Cincy. He averaged 26 pts, 7 ass, 4 stls, 4 rebs. Rated in the top 100 and top 10 point guards. He is Cincy’s first 2005 commit.

I was think about this guy today and our status with him. He is/was rated # 42 by Rivals. I think I rather have Goode.

He’s actually their 2nd commitment. SG Tyree Evans of Richmond was the first for 2005-06.

I think we had some casual contact with him, but were not very involved. Cincy didn't steal him from us.

Not until after Langston calls him and tells him he really should be in the ACC :rolleyes:
