Dusan Kovacevic - 2015 PF

We watched Kovacevic today, 6’10 PF (Raburn Gap, GA). Has your typically euro game, skilled passer/shooter. Watching his highlights makes me think of him as a SLU kid that would just torch us.

He has an offer from New Mexico. A scout today labeled him as a MM+ prospect.

Dusan Kovacevic (6’10″, Rabun Gap) Was the top player in attendance today in my opinion. Is a point forward and ran the PG position for most of the day. Is in great shape and played almost every minute in all 3 games and was the number one offensive weapon. Has a great feel for the game and is highly skilled. Reminds me of Joe Ingles who played for Team Australia this summer in the FIBA World Cup (also the Utah Jazz). Is vocal and a floor leader. Solid ball handler who can also knock down open 3′s. Unselfish. Is from Serbia and played for the Junior National team this past summer. Utilizes pump fakes and can score the ball when needed. Not afraid of contact. Needs to improve quickness and explosion. Already holds several D1 offers and is a HM player in my opinion.

Intriguing prospect, would be labeled as a point forward from what I’ve read.

Season opener stats: 27pts, 13rebs, 4 asts

Committed to davidson
Committed to davidson
Yeah, committed a while back. I never saw anything official with us recruiting him. Had heard chatter we’d get involved but never seemed to happen.

Nice get for the Cats. Intriguing prospect for sure. I think he’ll fit the Davidson mold very well.
