Last minute predictions?
predictions are pointless. it will be what it will be. as we know, just because there is a smart decision to be made, doesnt mean that he will make it. hopefully this kid realizes the opportunity he has here with regards to playing time, versatility, talent to work with and ncaa tournament opportunities versus somewhere like depaul where the only thing they have on us is the conference.
no offense against depaul, who historically had a good program, but here is the funny story. Their coach, Joey âmy dad got me the jobâ Meyer, came in town to charlotte one night with a top 15 team and we beat them. I think that was our Trigger Terrell, Henry and Odom team in our Metro conference days a very good team. Meyer got on the radio in his post game show, and talked about how ridiculous it could be to lose to Charlotte, acted very arrogant. He really was a sore loser that night. The next night we beat another top 20 team, Alabama, whom had at least 3 NBA first round nba picks and two NBA all stars on their team.
Depaul was in CUSA conference at the time, we later merged and ended up in their league. As history shows, we dominated them for years in CUSA. Coach Lutz really had them both at home and on their home court.
Anyway, just a little 49er history for everyone.

nope. cusa was formed when some teams from the great midwest conference and the ganggreen95 conference decided to join forces.

Edit: I am not saying that my âsourceâ said he is going commit to us, just that he will be making his decision around 5 pm tomorrow.

We need this kid. With no Lewis, and no Carter, this is the last impact guy we are in on. We need to bag him or I might consider our rebuild being pushed back a year.
good point it was great midwest, but CUSA was more of the derivative to Great Midwest that we were âinvited intoâ. Maybe same offices, infrastructure etc⌠of great midwest.

If he goes there, you can forget about it.
