It was nice to play the 49āers one last time. Have fun in the A-10. Iām sure you all will definately win that conference numerous times. UNCC has a wonderul program and basketball continues to shine even with the loss to ECU today. I never expected a win against a team of your caliber. Take heart. The tournament is what matters most, and I rest assured that Coach Lutz will have your team ready to competeā¦once againā¦in the NCAA tournament.

Hereās what we should do: Get a D-1AA football team and form the new Southern Conference with ECU, App, Davidson, WCU, UNC-W, COC, etc. Beats the A-10, if you care about more than B-Ball.
Hootie, I would agree with that. I believe a football program would work wonders for your entire athletic department. Hell, Western Carolina plays some bigtime D-1 schoolsā¦Alabama, Georgia, etc. Could you imagine going to see your Niners play those teams? That makes for a wonderful time.
Iām not going to deny that UNCC has a much better program, but perhaps you should have seen it coming seeing that the last 3 games in Minges have gone right down to the wire. Even the game @ UNCC this year was a 5 point game with about 4 minutes to go.

The basketball schools in the A10 are much better than the teams mentioned above. I think that our best bet would be to start D-1AA football in the A10. Some of the A10 schools have been discussing a departure within a few years so the opportunity should be there.

We should never play at ecu again, they should always play here, we have nothing to gain and a lot to lose, kinda like what unc says about us, but, ecu is barely on a d1 level.
