I loved Marianne Faithful’s late 70’s and 80’s music. She lost her voice due to drugs and misuse and sang her songs on the edge. Broken English is one of the most intense albums one might ever listen to and her live album Blazing Away is stunning. Not everyone’s cup of tea but many of us will miss her. RIP - “As Tears Go By”.
