"Fan of the Game Contest"

Who else thinks the “Fan of the Game” contest might need some regulation. The one guy took off his shirt last night. What’s going to happen when a girl does it? It could be way worse than the “Pepsi Incident”

Depends on the girl :stuck_out_tongue:

The Pepsi incident was hilarious! Too bad it was brought down when the guy cheated. There was no denying that he was able to see where the ball was going. And I think that the fan of the game thing is getting a little silly. Why not nominate someone as the fan of the game and let them try to get the crowd cheering as opposed to a contest? The same fans will be down there and will win all year.

LOL…yeah, not sure we need a wardrobe malfunction out there. I think the concept was really good but it’s tough to keep something like that in check. Hopefully it won’t get too overboard.

By the way, congrats to PB for taking last night’s title. :stuck_out_tongue:

clt feels a wardrobe malfunction would be ok with him.

The girl did know how to shake it though. Very stripper-like.

When I saw his thread title, I thought it would be referring to the girl in the mini skirt that was shakin it like a polaroid picture, not the dude with his shirt off.

They need to do away with the fan of the game…it has gotten old quick. Bring back the half court shot. That has a nice drama effect to it.

I was at the Panthers game a few weeks back and they had mascots from all over playing football at half and it was awesome. Howabout Norm challenges the Charlotte Bobcat to a game of one on one.

The Annual mascot game is the GA State game. Norm vs the world. I didn't think it was an annual event but that's what the Jr 49er club letter said.

I was hoping for a cart wheel. No luck though. :(

So I guess I haven’t been at Charlotte long enough to know about the “Pepsi Incident”? Explanation, anyone?

CA & SF:

The “Pepsi Incident” was a timeout contest from about 5 years ago where 2 contestants had to run the length of the floor carrying a case of Pepsi cans. Well, one guy got going too fast and dropped the cans all over the floor. Pepsi cans were rolling everywhere right as the timeout ended. Players, coaches, refs, and attendants were picking up cans for about 2 minutes. It was quite possibly the worst timeout promotion in history.

Thanks man, I thought this was going to be a thread about me…

A couple of people told me I should have shaken my groove thang too, but I didn’t want to show her up.

Yeah, thanks for keeping your shirt on. We voted for you, but I think the whole shirt thing lost him some points.

Three words…

Verbatim Prize Wheel

That was the worst promotion ever. I love the fan of the game. So far it has been a different fan each time. A wardrobe malfunction could happen in any contest, and I like anything that gets the crowd involved. The mascot promotion is a good idea but do something other than play basketball. They cant see/play in those costumes. And please this year dont have a promotion that includes the “Who let the COWS out” song.

Who was the clown that ripped his shirt off last night?
