I believe we were gonna try and call it “Niner Nation”…or something like that…and they were all gonna sit in the student section and be crazy and such…I even have their T-Shirt…

being more specific, alot of students get the Niner Nation shirts and even consider themselves NinerNation. But IM talking a step above that.

I see what you’re getting at this though. The craziest group of fans with the warpaint and craziness be in a special section?..but two problems.
- Chances are the craziest fans are already taking up the first few rows of 104 in teh first place, and woudl they really want to give up those seats?
…and 2) If you’re taking the crazy fans out of the current student section, wouldnt that section be dead?

Lutz, the idea is that getting the hardcore fans and playing this out. Alot of hardcore fans are already in 104. I think they should stand out. So we would have to really move out of that section.
Also I would think something other then the green niner nation shirts. Maybe green and white stripped shirts or something… different.
If there was a way to resurect the Halton Hooligans possibly. I am willing…
Like I said if we can work something out. Maybe like like top 40 Fans (section 104) automatically become part of Halton Hooligans or something. But it would have to be consistent fans or something. You know like that.

What about people that return their season tickets before the first home game? What do you call them?
This is really starting to sound like Gang Green pt. 2. They had their own name, own shirts, and own section.
The division amongst the fans is the last thing we need. The idea behind Niner Nation is that everyone comes together to support the team. The elitist attitude that would surround the “Halton _____s” could push people away, which to some extent happened this year with Niner Nation Gold.
You get me an entire student section filled with GREEN NINER NATION shirts, not Niner Nation Gold shirts, and then I’ll say let’s form another group of truly hardcore fans.
In the meantime, taking the 20-30 people who really care about basketball on campus and seperating them from the small number that care somewhat is not going to do anything but hurt our cause. Get rid of the blue, red, yellow, orange, etc. shirts from our student section before creating a whole different group.
