Fantasy Baseball Experts - Need some Keeper advice

Got shelled last week by a player who picthed 6 double start guys against me and all but one of them had two good starts.

I also left Rafael Soriano on the bench and he had a very very nice week piling up 3 saves.

Need to regroup. I’m benching Marcus Giles and starting Biggio @ 2B, LaRoche (dodgers rook) @ 3B and Zimmerman @ DH.

Thinking maybe I need another big bat? Or no? Picthing is worth so damn much in our league, but at the same time, only if your closers are closing and double start pitchers who get shelled are pretty useless (this means you Chuck James, outside of your last start).

Here’s where I lose. I have a good team, but not a dominant one. I need to make a move to improve my roster, but I don’t know what move to make, and no one is helping me out by offering any real value in the trade market. I’m getting the typical - “hey, here’s 2 of my part time players for 2 of your starters” offers.

Closed an 8 player trade last week. Results so far have been good.

Gave up:

Chuck James - struggling SP, but cheap
Pedro Martinez - D/L, cheap
Wandy Rodriguez - cheap FA pickup
Willy Tavares - $10 OF that I never used - who wants a Colorado base stealer??

Got:

Miguel Cabrera - duh (he’s a FA after this year, so the other guy wanted to dump him)
Chris Carpenter - My D/L for his D/L. I think Pedro will be back first. Advantage other guy.
Andre Ethier - OF depth, cheap contract. Can he hold a job?
Dontrelle Willis - better than Chuck at this point, but he’s a FA in our league after this season

I have a 5 player trade on the table that would swap mediocre starters and land me an aging, but still top flight closer. Dunno if the other guy is gonna pull the trigger.
