Always liked Tina’s and CCR’s versions of “Proud Mary” without thinking one better than the other. Sorta like how I view the respective Peter Frampton and Johnny Winter takes on “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by the Stones.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Tina did a good job. Her version is a good listen, I just like CCR’s better. If it sounded like I was putting Tina and her version down, I didn’t mean to.
I was never a big fan of her music, but man did she have great legs.
Favorite music - prog rock - Tull, Genesis, Yes, ELP, Floyd, Camel, Gentle Giant, Pocupine Tree, RPWL, Strawbs, Marillion, Mystery, Caravan, PFM, King Crimson, Queensryche, etc.
I like late 60’s and early 70’s classic rock as well.

I grew up with her on the radio constantly. And I loved her in MM:BT, and her song in it.
