well, that game sucked. As good as our defense looked against a struggling ODU team, our offense looked worse. We are a really bad team. I sure hope Judy doesnāt fire Lambert this year, because that means she would be hiring his replacement.
she could pull a name out of a hat and not pick a coach as bad as Lambert. Heās the worst Iāve ever seen.
I donāt really want her picking the next coach, but we canāt endure another year with this staff. We will have crowds like Georgia State or emu.
I completely agree. I donāt want Judy picking the next coach either but I donāt think she is going anywhere. We need a new coach next season. I our recruiting, player development , and play calling are horrible. I think even an incompetent Judy could pick a better successor to this cluster. Tonightās game was beyond embarrassing. Iāll take my chances with the next guy.
If it was year one for lambert and co. I give him a pass. Maybe year two. Iām concerned if itās year three. Now, no excuse. 3-4 wins minimum. Is that too much to ask? Young program or not, weāre in Conference fān USA.
So I guess the goal of the UF AD is NOT to provide a good experience for their athletes? Whatās wrong with them? Florida got their butts kicked today by the Bull Dawgs, but they still have a solid chance of going to a bowl game.
Coach fired. Asses handed to them by Missouri, which entered the game with a losing record. Worse loss to a losing team since 1946. Dude at FAU will be a good fit for them next season.

Correct, and that is my point. Even thoough their record is better than ours, they got rid of their coach instead of saying shit like their real purpose is to provide a good experience to the athletes.
UNCC should just try to get Les Miles. Iām sure he is getting tired of living the lush life after LSU. :)) :)) :))
Iām sure Les can jump right back into a P5 job if he wants.
Judy and Phil do not approve of Les Miles. He has had past success and has a personality that many like. Judy and Phil will not allow a football coach to overshadow their presence.

Correct, and that is my point. Even thoough their record is better than ours, they got rid of their coach instead of saying s*** like their real purpose is to provide a good experience to the athletes.
The Missouri loss was AFTER the coach was fired. Iād say that Floridaās expectations are as much too high as ours are too low. I suspect you are correct that they donāt give a ratās ass about their athletes( or their coaches, either) and that winning is the only thing they want. Not sure that is a good thing. Iād say both programs need more balance. Anyway, we have a Florida type attitude at a school right here in this state for those who prefer that.
Most LSU fans I have communicated with have told me he was always carried by Pelini. Pelini also happens to be doing well in youngstown state and has a bit more tread.
Wanting to win does NOT always equate to not caring about their athletes. You and Judy just use that logic as an excuse for us not being worth a s***. Iām guessing you have never competed at anything because I can assure you winning provides a better experience than losing. So that throws your āproviding a good experience and winning does not matterā bullshit out the window.

We need a new AD and a new football coach.
Caring about athletes does not always equate to not wanting to win, either. Its an obvious fact that our athletic dept is doing a poor job of providing on field success. You are making an assumption that they donāt WANT to win. Never attribute bad motives when pure incompetence explains so much more. Iām really happy you consider yourself a winner, BTW.
So now you are finally admitting we have an incompetent AD? Finally. Welcome aboard.
Your reading comprehension is just improving is all. Good job! Maybe I need to continue to simplify.
The Lambert Era:
ā Overall 17-38, 31% win ratio
ā FBS 7-26, 21% win ratio
ā Of our 17 wins, only 5 have come against teams with a winning record that year
ā Of our 7 FBS wins, only 2 have come against teams with a winning record that year
ā The teams that we have beaten were a combined 73-192 in that year, having a 38% win ratio
ā Homecoming games - We are 1-4
ā CUSA games 4-17, 19% win ratio
Iām not as concerned about the past as I am this season. Two seasons of FCS, weāre still building. First season of FBS was a wakeup call and embarrassing, but again, it was our first season. We were going to take our lumps regardless. Last year was progress, which I wanted and expected to see. This is the season where I am really disappointed. We continue to lose close games (how weāre keeping them close is a real tribute to our defense over-achieving), so Iām only really taking this year into account as a giant leap backwards for all of niner-kind.
