No. He hit a ton of shots that were objectively difficult, regardless of team which leads to another concern. Ron kills playersâ confidence.
Ron does not pull them for shots, itâs for letting missed shots effect their deffense. Itâs up to the players to work on their craft. All any coach can do is help them with their footwork and technique. I donât know what goes on in practice or what players do on their own after practice, but have never seen Ron do anything more than encourage the guys. Which might be why they all seem to like him.
The level of the competition is a definite factor on hitting or missing shots, including the next shot, and the next harder shot. They were looking like Hoosiers early on because they were like playing Hickory high
Before Jimmy Chitwood joined the team!

clt says time to move on

This 100%.
You apparently arent watching closely.
I was watching some 90âs NBA highlights the other day and remembered how entertaining basketball used to be to watch. Fast pace action with unbelievable athleticism. I know college basketball canât compare to pro ball but our product is miserable to watch. We are a public university in the south and we donât have crazy high admissions standards so why are we playing a system that is best suited for a small northeastern private college with strict admissions standards? In the 2000âs when we had solid attendance we played an exciting style of ball with good three point shooting and athleticism.
Before you say âwell if we win no one will careâ we arenât coming close to winning anything. We are in the bottom half of a one-bid league.
Losing basketball sucks winning basketball is fun.
I could see that being a possibility with Mike Hill. after all he was an assoicate director at florida and when it comes to the SEC those school put a huge emphasis on football first. and when it comes to possibly moving up to the Big 12 its gonna be what we do on the football field more thats going to have a bigger impact on whether we move up or not. honestly I donât mind the strategy if thats the plan. I would say though that if thats the plan then he should still get rid of Sanchez and bring in someone like Chris Mack instead. a guy like Mack has experience running a strong basketball program and with the experience he has fans would likely be more patient with a long rebuild if it really comes to that since heâs been there and done that in the tournaments. Mike Hill can then get back to trying to put more focus on building the football program with Poggi where most of his attention should be anyway and he can have someone like Mack running the basketball side where hill wont have to micro manage much since heâs got a veteran guy there to help run the show.
All true but remember Florida won in basketball and football while he was there.
No successful AD would ever give a coach a 6th year after the previous 5 years conference finish record.
Does Sanchez still have a job? Whatâs taking so long?
Chris Collins.
Firing him at this time in the season is pointless and would be a hindrance in hiring his replacement.
If Ron is eventually fired, over under on the minutes before meanjoegreen and 3 to 4 others starting up a âfire Coach Xâ page. I have it at 2 minutes!

You need to sit in my seats behind the bench and you will see just how wrong you are
I have never started a fire anyone page. Do you believe Ron Sanchez should keep his job? Really, letâs hear what your take is on Ron Sanchez. All of it.
You compared Ron Sanchez to Dean Smith! Are you insane or stupid?
