I just noticed this after seeing that Glenn Rollins quote about the Final Four team in HP49er’s signature here. Interesting. The calendar of 1977 is the same as THIS year. :bball:

I just finished reading a copy of “Goal Rush”, the story of the 1977 team. (Thanks HP) What a run we made!!! If you consider yourself a 49er fan, you have to read this. I look forward to reading “Goal Rush 2”, the story of the 04-05 Charlotte 49ers!!! 
But as of 2/18/77, the 49ers were 19-3 before defeating Seton Hall in Madison Square Garden. It was the third win in what became a 13-game win streak, ending in Atlanta.
Let’s hope it doesn’t exactly follow the same course, 13 consecutive victories now ends with a second round NCAA loss.
Just remember… We still haven’t lost in Saint Louis this year… YET.
