From the Observer Signing Day article:
Not recruiting related, but here are the payouts the 49ers will receive from the three âPower 5â conference games they have coming up:
Kentucky (2015), $900,000;
Louisville (2016), $600,000;
Kansas State (2017), $775,000.
Tennessee in 2018 and Clemson in 2019, right? Those payouts should top 1 million I would think.
What are some factors that determine how much we should fetch in these games (considering they are all different amounts)? Is it just expected crowd size?

I find it funny the numbers drop from the initial 900K payment. Havenât these people heard of inflation!?!?!?

I have to admit I was completely unaware they had a football program.
Good chance our fans agree and show up to Halton by mistake.
We should keep scheduling an annual FCS opponent as long as the FBS rules allow it, but I do wish it was someone with a little more local interest. That game is perplexing to me, especially if they are that good. Nothing like getting beat by another âWesleyâ type team.
Based on the schedule rotation as listed above, it would be a coup and really exciting to get at least a mid tier name in the Rich in 2019 as our final home game.

Historical note: a player by the name of Vince Lombardi played there. Ever heard of him?

Fordham has been pretty bad most years and I donât see them holding on to their coach much longer. Consider me not worried.

My guess is this came about from AD relationships established during our time in the A-10. When you look at our OOC games that year, I donât mind a gimme too much.
