UT confirms 2018 game, no date set yet.[/quote]

Darn, I had a whole post typed up based on the open dates based on how they used to do their schedules before the SEC expanded and Missouri was added to the east. Looks like they do it a little different now. UF game has been pushed back a couple weeks, etc. Hereā€™s their 2014 schedule. Weā€™d most likely slot in for that weekend they played Ark State, or the weekend they played UT-Chat. The SEC portion of their schedule is usually the same from year to year.

It would be great to get that October slot. Butch looks like hes got them rising. They may be top tenā€¦lets hope our development curve looks better than GaStā€™s! ???

LaTech Report saying it is certain we will just take UABā€™s scheduling rotation. That would mean we play FAU, MT, and WKU here and Marshall and FIU away. Bad news is no ODU.

Not quite sure how the west/east rotational works. Any insights to that?

Not sure if that report is correctā€¦ Weā€™ll know soon though.

ODU beat writer has more information about 49er sports than our own local paper. Pathetic.

Thatā€™s a little strange, you would think all the East teams would play each other every year and the teams that rotate on the schedule would be from the West. Still, thatā€™s a pretty nice schedule for us, if ODU was subbed in for La Tech it would almost be a perfect first year schedule.

If this is correct, that is not a bad looking schedule at all. Stinks that we have to put off our game with ODU for another year, but hopefully weā€™ll be in a good position to begin our rivalry in 2016. Despite getting L-Tech, who I fully expect to beat us to death, we got a fairly favorable draw from the West with USM and North Texas.

Another year to wait to play ODU sucks, but we will have a lot of experience by then, which will help.

I for one am very excited to see some C-USA football at The Rich this season!

clt says our local paper gets most of its info from this board.

Either Death Valley or this would be a good candidate for a BofA Stadium game.

I agree and would love it but the link insinuates it will be a home game for Clemson. Still fantastic!

Can we continue to post good news about our football program? Itā€™ll help me drink less during basketball season. How are those lights coming?

I really want to go to the game tonight, but I really donā€™t want to be disappointed, and they donā€™t serve that beer I was talking about needing to cope with our BBALL program.

But back to footballā€¦ 2019 will be a fun year on the road for us fansā€¦ Iā€™m not sure the team will be as excited. If we can just keep things close, as Iā€™m not expecting us to be superstars by then, games like this can help build our brand.
