Gameday! I want to see all of you in Halton Arena. That includes YOU.

We’re coming off a wildly successful trip to Puerto Rico that exceeded most everyone’s expectations and we’re on the edge of getting into the Top 25. No way we do that without winning our next three games, all of which we have the opportunity to make a big impact on with our attendance and support.

See you there!

FORTY!!!

I will be there. Pics beforehand?

Depends on the boss lady but I hope so.

I am leaving here around 2. Should get to pics by 4:15.

Damn, you have to work on a Sunday?

Let’s show these guys some appreciation for dominating down in PR.

That’s what I figured, figured it would be a more enjoyable way to call him out on it.

Interestingly, UNCA is not talking about us at all on heir message board. Maybe they are hoping that if they don’t talk about it, it wont happen?

I am pretty sure that is an old article and they are re-using it. A) I am pretty sure I read that a few days ago. B) In the article it says Sunday’s game as opposed to Todays game.

Just the O being lazy.

Don’t most of the newspapers reprint articles on Sundays, with the Sunday subscription just a collection of the top stories from the week that aren’t spefic date related and then the regular news?

Why would 3-time Big South champion coach Eddie Biedenbach resign to go be Buzz Peterson’s assistant at UNCW?

Either way, I’ll be there. Gonna miss the second half of the Broncos game for it. If anybody here knew how much I love Denver, you’d be marveling at my choosing of the Niners.

Yeah I was scratching my head on this too.

Maybe Buzz is likely to get canned after this year and UNCW is interested in promoting him after that. Hiring him as an assistant first could minimize transfers later if that happens, possibly.

Hard to say.

I’ve actually had the privilege of having a long conversation with Eddie B., and I have to say he is an extremely nice guy who just loves to talk about anything college basketball related. He, apparently, has always said he would only leave for the NCSU job or the UNCW job. One was his dream job, the other for retirement purposes. If that’s true, I suppose it was a pretty easy decision for him.

He’s an older guy, so I’m not surprised that retirement factored into his decision.

I always liked and respected him as a coach and person. I wish him well at UNCW and hope that he gets a chance to run the program himself.
