Once the PA announcer told fans in a less-than-half-filled arena that the game would hopefully be rescheduled and to hold onto ticket stubs, Tech fans Jeff Reeves and his son Lee were not amused.
They drove five hours from Demopolis, Ala. After Leeās first chance to see a Tech game was drowned out, he said, āIt sucks.ā
No, it rained.
Dang, how often does that happen?
Looks like Dayton might be this years Clemson. Injuries killed them.

Often! :lmao:
Rained out for the first time in a basketball history that dates back to 1905-06, when games were played at a place called Peachtree Auditorium before coach John Heismanās teams moved to the Cable Piano Company Hall and then on campus in what was called the Crystal Palace.
And yes, that is the same John Heisman that the football trophy is named for.

Really sad because Roberts was on his way to A-10 POY (as well as All-American consideration) with Wright looking like the prohibitive for Rookie of the Year. Unless they win the A-10 tourney, looking like the NIT for the Flyers.
As of today, Iād say Josh Duncan is the fav for POY and URās Kevin Anderson for ROY.
Xās win over Duquesne is even more impressive considering the fact that Lavender only played 14 minutes as he is still suffering the injury he incurred when the Musketeers played the Niners earlier this month. Looking more and more like a 2 or 3 seed in the Big Dance.
As of today, I'd say Josh Duncan is the fav for POY and UR's Kevin Anderson for ROY.
Wow a sixth man for POY, I donāt know if that speaks positively about X or negatively about the conference.
