Would be good for Maryland, High Point and SI to somehow pull out wins
…And Lasalle BETTER not loose this game!
Would be good for Maryland, High Point and SI to somehow pull out winsWell, 3 out of 4 ain’t bad. Bigtime win for SIU over Drake, and High point beats UNCA. Our opponents look better, makes us look a little better. Though it really probably only matters for helping us get into the NIT, if that. Too bad we couldn’t add to it……And Lasalle BETTER not loose this game!

Dayton and Rhode Island really beat themselves last night. UD squandered a 12 point lead, shot 6-17 on FTs, and let Shawn James hit 2 3-pointers in the final 2 minutes while playing in front of 13,000+! URI jumped out to a 17 point lead in the first half and still had the Owls down by 13 in the 2nd before allowing Temple to get back in the game and win in OT.
Rhody is probably still looking good for the Big Dance, but Dayton is playing itself into the NIT.
Although Bona is in last place in the conference, worst team of the year definitely belongs to GW. After spanking the Billikens in DC, the Colonials lose by 25 in the return game.
BTW, Davidson was down by 20 to UNCG before Curry (41 points) led the charge by the Wildcats to pull that one out.
