Good Luck to Mills

Adam Mills will start the year in the rotation at AAA Pawtucket. What a huge opportunity. Boston is essentially the second best baseball organization/team in the world and they don’t allow just anyone to have the ball as a starter in AAA. Remember he was only drafted in June 07, so this is a huge year. He finished the year there with 6 starts. 2-2, 3.48 ERA

Still hoping for that John Maine-Adam Mills World Series

As much time as Beckett has spent on the DL the last couple of years, Mills could get a few starts this year in the bigs if he performs well early in the season.

Wakefield can’t pitch forever, so he may get his shot at full-time starting slot in '11 or '12 if his numbers remain or improve upon what they have been so far.

Looked at their schedule. They are in Charlotte May 6-9, and in Durham May 22-25.

Metro, Mets going nowhere!!!

His best bet is to do well at AAA and hope to become a valued trade chip.

Lester and Bucholtz are both young and probably in that rotation for the next 6-8 years. Lackey got 5 years and Beckett will get a 4 year extension. The #5 is the only potential spot for the next 5 years.

6-8 years?? Dude, things change season to season… trades, injuries, production… If you think they will have the same rotation for even the next 3 years I’ll put some money down they won’t.

I bet Mills gets traded to San Diego for the Adrian Gonzalez trade that is bound to happen. Mills would be a pitching god there since he pitches to contact and Petco is a freaking airplane hanger.

Dude. Guaranteed contracts. I said 6-8 for Lester and Bucholtz, the other 2 willbe gone after these deals are up. Beckett and Lackey are getting paid, they will be in the rotation unless they are hurt… Lester is their best pitcher and signed an extesion last year. Bucholtz young, has killer stuff and will be the one cheap part of the rotation for till he is arbitration eligible That rotation is as set as any in baseball.

metro, where is the bus
