Grady Little out in LA ?
Officials familiar with Girardi’s job prospects said Thursday if the Yankees do not hire him to succeed Joe Torre, then Girardi could have a developing opportunity with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
for those of the younger generation, Grady is a Geringer High grad and former Charlotte O’s (early 1980’s at Crockett Park) manager.

that is of course, in addition to numerous MLB coaching positions.

I don’t follow the Dodgers much, but this is kinda surprising…if it materializes.

well…even more so… his son Eric started in centerfield for the 49ers from 92-94 and Grady was a fixture around UNCC in that time (in which he was the Durham Bulls Manager)

he still owns the record for most wins in a minor league season. He managed the AA Greenville Braves to 100+ wins in 1995, I believe.

I think when Cox retires, its his job.

I remember him from the Durham Bulls days. Never knew his son played here. I can now say I learned something today. Thanks.
