If you are interested in joining in for group tickets to the Bulls vs Bobcats game(s) please read and respond to this message or PM me.
I just spoke with someone in the Bobcats office and got the details. To get group seating, we must have a minimum of 20 people and we must make a $200 deposit to hold the group seating (which is applied towards the total due - I figure that we can take the total number of tickets requested and divide that into the $200, each ticket responsible for an even share). Tickets range between $10 and $38 depending on how close we want to be and would be due after seating is assigned. I would prefer to get as close as possible to make sure that we are heard!
Games are scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2005 and Friday, March 31, 2006. We can get tickets to one, or both, of the games based on demand.
I would be more than happy to make arrangements based on requests, and take monies towards the deposit.
Go Eddie!
When responding, tell me how many tickets you will need and which date is preferrable for you. Also if you have a request in regards to seating (higher vs lower)
Doesn’t Eddie still have to “make” the team first? I thought his partially guaranteed contract is only valid if he makes the opening day roster? I truly hopes he makes it, but doesn’t it make financial sense to wait until we know for sure before throwing down a chunk of change?

Not quite sure if $10-$38 really accounts for a "chunk" - besides, if for some odd reason Eddie doesn't make the roster, I wouldn't mind going anyways. We'll be in the middle of the holiday break and I'll need a basketball fix, even if it comes in the form of the NBA.
AND I’d like to get in early so that we can get good seats. I think it’s more than worth the risk.

I hear ya, but I wouldn't consider a Rodney jesey a "throw back". How 'bout a Lew Massey jersey instead?
Come on, his stint with the Pistons should qualify for throw back status.

Something else I just thought of........ Are we absolutely sure the NINERS will not have a game in Halton that night?
I spoke to the ticket office a couple of weeks ago about trying to see if they were doing anything and they said that there wasn't a game that night.
There are $40 (STH Price) lower level seats, however these have soldout, much of the lower level has soldout in fact. The best chance to be down stairs will be with $55-$65 seats (not sure of the group rate). The lower level has just 6,800 seats, so there are worse seats in Halton then there are in that area if that tells you anything.
One suggestion is to ask for seats ($38ish) in front of “Rock the Rooftop”, which is baseline upper level, but it hangs down to the level of the suites and has a bar right behind it with views to the court. It’ll be a fun place and not a bad place to watch the game.
Just make sure you wear Bulls stuff. I will never support the Bobcats after they (being the NBA) dissed a Hall of Famer from having the team just because he is white to give a franchise (the NBA gives franchises) to a guy who never stepped foot in Charlotte (and then brings on Nelly).
