So we have a slightly new uniform for the upcoming season, anything else?
Halton Arena improvements/upgrades? (pretty sure it’s not posiible with current structure, but would love to see 2nd level LED boards around the arena somehow.)
New Floor scheme? (like the current floor, hope it doesn’t change)
Any new introduction/music information? (needs to always be hip-hop beat)

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.[/quote] I"ve actually wondered why this isn’t done everywhere, as it makes the officials jobs easier with no possibility of being confused whether the players are behind the men’s arc or the women’s arc. It won’t matter anyway when the distances become uniform in future years as is rumored.
WHO hates us? And what is the football know-it-all doing posting in the basketball forum? Shouldn’t you stick to keeping us all informed about football?

I guess that’s one way to “fix” it now that the men’s and women’s 3-point line is the same in college hoops. Both Duquesne and Xavier put in new floors in their respective arenas over the summer, so their courts reflect the rule change that occurred in May. Hmmm…
The rule book specifically spells out that officials cannot go to the monitor for judgment calls such as to determine who committed a foul (unless it is flagrant), determine whether there was basket interference or goaltending, or determine whether a violation occurred. That has not changed.
