I watched some of their game last night, if you can call it a game, Memphis State is absolutely terrible…
Even though it is bad for this conference, I can’t help but enjoy it.
And I better NEVER hear them mock us for poor attendance. That place was completely empty and the majority of those that showed up, all started filing out of the game with 2 minutes left. Couldn’t be happier to see their football team get trounced (especially after all the fans started focusing on it after losing a basketball game) and I couldn’t be happier to see their basketball team sitting at just .500 right now. Heckuva coach they have there…glad to see he’s earning that fat paycheck. What a pathetic athletic program right now.

[/b]Well, in their defense, the weather was pretty horrible in Memphis last night. But geez, we had more than 3,000 fans in the building when we played Temple during that ice storm in 02-03. Pitiful.

The best part about Memphis losing to Providence, is Providence lost to Wintrop, at Providence!!! Now sure you could say Winthrop is good this year. But they’re really not, I saw them play 3 weeks ago against Siena, and THAT was a close game. They looked like high schoolers. I like to see Memphis lose, but it’s too bad they won’t be ranked when we beat them in conference season.
