Do you guys think its possible for the athletic department of even us as a university to setup voting stations on the hot-spots of campus? I was thinking of having like 4 tables around campus each with 2 laptops hooked up to the internet helping students be more aware of what actually is going on. Some key spots would be the Belk Tower, Prospector, the entrence near the west parking deck and the “wall” right between Friday and Fretwell. I mean there is nothing around campus to let students know to vote. If I had it my way, there would be 20’x20’ banners hanging from all the buildings informing students.
The athletic department is not sanctioning the football vote. I thought what you were asking for was being done.

The Banners Idea is a good one. Bedsheets are pretty cheap.
It would be nice if they would stick a message about it on the university’s website like they do for SGA elections… but, they would never do that.

It’s not much, but they do have the “Vote” button on the right side of the homepage right now…

Posting on here won’t do you any good. Go by the SGA office in Cone and tell em your ideas. Talk to Ben Comstock. Talk to Jordan Van Dyne. Talk to Justin. Do something. Take action.
19 years later, and we can look back and say with the help of you guys and the students, we got it done. 49ers Football is here and producing NFLers. They ignored us until they couldn’t. Thanks to everyone in this group who supported.
