Hi There Niner Fans

As the saying goes “long time no see”. I have not been on the boards since before the UMass game and that’s a thread I usually like to start. So congrats on that victory and your victory over GW the other day. It’s best you put some distance between yourself and GW/Fordham. UMass and Charlotte may not have the best records, but we do have wins against Dayton (now in the AP top 25). Besides Atlantic City wouldn’t be the same without you. It’s been a crazy couple of months for me. I’ve had to kinda put basketball on the backburner. We had about 60 people retire/let go from my company and I have been pulling a lot of six day week…oh well.

Anyway getting back to hoops as usual A.C. looks wide open once again. Temple has quietly been putting a late season run for an at large bid. Lunardi has them on his “next four out” list. Rhody has a tougher path but if they can knock off Dayton at home and not lose more that one additional regular season game they could potentionally put themselves on the right side of the bubble. Hopefully the A10 can get three -with an outside chance of for- teams in the Big Dance. No teams from Ohio has ever cut down the nets at Boardwalk Hall and I believe the trend will continue this year. Anyway, it’s good to be back on the board and there is an outside chance I will be down in DC to watch your rematch with the Colonial later this month. If not good luck and see you in A.C…Go UMass Go A10 !!!

A benefit of being in the A-10…civil opposing fans, as opposed to those from Mempiss, UAB, etc.

Thanks for your post, UMass…

I concur.

I think you’re misconstruing Civility for Apathy Over40.

When we’re good we can piss off the Pope. It wasn’t all one way obnoxiousness and I personally miss the hell out of it. I can’t wait to be good enough to matter again and drive the Dayton, X, etc fans to throwing colorful expletives our way.
