The O in the Briefs section has a story about 16 HS FB players got “compartment syndrome,” & 3 had surgery. They all participated in a FB camp together in OR.
I looked up compartment syndrome on Wikipedia & one way of spreading is a cast, & I doubt 16 had a cast. Another way is IV drug use. Do you think some kids shot up 'roids with the same needle? That would be dumb. At least use a fresh needle. :o There are other ways to catch it, but none of the others seemed to fit.
