Oct 15 & 16 vs. Charleston. I guess that means College of Charleston & not Charleston Southern.
Oct 15 is the Checkers home opener but I’ll probably go to the 16th game
I love mixed sports metaphors. Will they score touchdowns after this “kickoff”? I once saw Jake Delhomme “throw a strike” for 6 points and sometimes they throw passes for “home runs”. :))

Pretty good game. We won 8-3. It would have been 9-3 if not for an offsides call.
The UVA coach called timeout with 1:01 to go, & down 7-3. Dude, do you have a 4 goal play? Wth? It was funny when the Ref yelled up to the crowd in the bar he’d had enough because the game was over (right in front of the UVA bench where their coach was calling a play.) We were cracking up. It was mostly students, & some parents. We got the last goal with .4 of a sec. left! It was awesome.

I was actually the kid the ref yelled that at. Great game and team looks good this year
So I’m assuming the hockey team is club and not an actual school sport? Where do they play?
I really think if you sold 49er Hockey jerseys you could raise money for the team.
It’s a club team that plays at Xtreme Ice Center in Indian Trail.
& I’d buy a hockey 49er jersey.
That’s cool…it’s always disappointed me that the two schools I’ve attended didn’t have an official hockey program.
