Homecoming

I know tomorrow is going to be a great day, the game is going to be a brilliant show for our “soon to be ranked in the top 20” niners. Are any of you Niner Nation fans starting the day out with a nice 5k run around campus?

I think it is awesome that the game is sold out. Sold out, and the worst team in the conference is coming to town. Unbelievable!

No, but I do plan on doing a few 12 oz. curls. :toast:

Well, if this runner wasn't going to spend his Saturday morning in Conyers, GA, watching U-12 boys soccer, I'd be there to do the 5K. Hopefully I'll be back in Halton no latter than half-time to watch the Niners dismantle my wife's alma mater!

The thing that sucks is some people will leave early on senior day, because a lot of the people are here for parents weekend and they probably don’t care about the game. Also, it should be a blow out. I just hope the place is still full at the final buzzer. Its senior day afterall. show some respect.(Not aimed at anybody on this baord obviously)

Also, the sorority/dilettantes will leave after they squeal at half time for their friend in the HC court. Always have, always will.

I have entered the 5k but an arch problem might prevent my running. Going to wakeup at 7 tape up the arches and walk the course and do some light jogging to see if I can get the losened.

GO NINERS!!!

Oh, A 5K??? I wish I had known earlier (and lived closer to campus). I would have loved to participate as a warm-up to the Cooper River in April.

What time is the 5K? I’m supposed to be going to Brunch Saturday morning, but I may try to squeeze it in… Is race day registration going to be allowed??

Oh and speaking of Running and Cooper River, anyone else here going? Maybe we could meet up for the NCAA Championship which should be on while we’re down there… that is unless the Niners make an appearance and we’ll be retracting our Cooper River Registrations and taking our short vacation elsewhere!!

clt plans on enjoying a few adult beverages.

For everybody attending this weekend’s game, stay until there are five minutes left in the game. At that point, with a 30-point lead, Lutz will take out Withers for a little recognition. Please reign Withers with chants of “One more Year! One more year!”

When Iti comes out, can we chant "Good Luck in Europe" or "Don't come back".... but then again, I doubt that Iti will be in the game very much so it would be a lucky guess when his final exit would be.

clt is driving me to the game.
clt is cooking my lunch.
adult beverages will be consumed.
good times will be had by all.
shenanigans

no this is not a feeble attempt at haiku, just me preparing for the lunacy that comes from hanging out with clt.

why would u chant something negative towards one of our own players. especially since u dont even know if he is leaving.

Because he does much more harm than good when he is out on the floor, plus his attitude and temper certainly don't help us win games. He was overrated... that and it is obvious that he has no desire to be here. Let him go, an extra scholarship would be nice to have...

he does good because he keeps withers and nance from fouling out. i agree he needs a lot of work but yelling negative things at him doesnt help.

He keeps them from fouling out?? Are you kidding me?? He's normally fouled out before them. It's because of his frequent fouling that the other two are in the game more thus getting more fouls. Besides, between Drayton, Jamison, Coleman, Pigford, and Alexander, I'm sure that we'll have more than enough players to easily make up for what he brings to the table.

Answer this: What has Iti done well since conference play started? Missed several DUNKS (wide open dunks) - not good, Threw up airball jump shots - not good, Left his man to double team in such a poor manner that an easy pass is made to the open man and an easy dunk is allowed - not good, Gets manhandled in the paint by point guards - not good,… Do I need to continue?

He just isn’t worth the time, effort, or scholarship but that’s just my opinion.

QCITY can’t run!

Lutz did say this morning that one reason for starting Iti is to keep Curtis out of early foul trouble. Whatever works.

Now to more important things…

2 hours divided by 1 beer every 10 - 12 minutes, plus 1 kamikaze for every 2 - 3 beers … never mind
