How did you get your user name?

Just for fun…

mine is obvious…huge white sox fan right here. also seventeen is my favorite number, my best two years as a pitcher were spent with a big one seven on my back

I am the only poster on this board more optimistic than Lefty. I view the world through green tinted glasses, as they say, and can put a positive spin on anything 49er related. I feel confident in saying that Curtis Withers will get National Player of the Year, Mitch Mullis will get Freshman of the Year, Leemire Goldwire will get Defensive Player of the Year, and Bobby Lutz will get Coach of the Year. Oh and we will not lose a single game this season. B)

i get my user name from my AIM Screen name because i was attempting to be ghetto and it didn’t work very well. So everyone just started to call me dax.

I state things that are ridiculously obvious. Like: “Curtis Withers can be a very dominant force”, or “metro does not think Judy Rose is an excellent AD”, or “a lot of people on this board are unhappy with the manner in which the Charlotte Observer covers 49ers basketball.”

Yankee fan…Niner fan…nuff said

mine’s random

Baby Jesus made it so.

Live in Tennessee, Love the Niners;

OH, btw, Chisox and Yankee, My Cardinals would love to play either of your teams in the World Series - if we don’t get to extract our revenge on the BoSox!!

I work at Wachovia (WB) and graduated from UNCC in 96 (Niner). Nuff said…

I was getting an AOL account in January 1994. UNCC49ER was taken. I had a 15 year old Belgian comic book on my desk at the time, so I became Tintin. I’ve had that e-mail address for 11 plus years. Every board I’m on, I’m either Tintin or Tintin049.

Tintin

I’m an alumnus of the N.C. Teaching Fellows program at Charlotte.

I was just trying to think of a cool username and this is what I came up with. Although lately it’s hard to be for D(efense) and for the Niners as of late!!

I think some of the young bucks are more optimistic than me. I try to promote the good in the program and spread the green. We need it.

Lefthander of course. I don’t think my high school golf coach even knew my real name.

Mine is a takeoff on X-Men. I’m a 1997 graduate. X-49er.

Went to school when we still played a few games in the Mine Shaft. Mineshaft was already taken so being part German I used a little double-entendre in coming up with Meinshaft.

Craven, your double-entendre wins hands down and ranks up there with Seymour Hiney.

Interesting story here…

I pitched AA ball in 1997 for the Mets farm system. I started off the year with 46 Stikeouts in my first 5 starts (3-1 2.08ERA). Teammates started calling me K Town (K for strikeout) because they welcomed opposing players to come to “KTown” when I pitched.

One rotator cuff later…and here I am.

Also…I was a part of the San Francisco 49ers practice squad in 1999 as a punter.

Thus…The “KTown” and the “49er.”

The best part is that I now live in Kannapolis, which is otherwise known as KTown…and I went to school at UNCC and am a huge Charlotte 49er fan.

So, it works on 2 levels!!!

I wanted to shorten High Point, the obvious reason… a lifelong resident of the World Furniture Capital.

I’m a 49er Fan and 49erFan just seemed to boring so I went with 49erFan1.

Because I used it in player introductions from Day 1.

I live in Greenville, SC. It is also known as the upstate region of South Carolina.
