How many people..

…do you think will leave the game early on Wed to catch the Baby Blues vs the Royal Blues? (I know, I know, not many will even show up in the first place)

I know I’m gonna give holy hell to any student I catch leaving our team’s game to cheer on some school an hour and a half away that they never attended in their life…

GO NINERS! BEAT THE ARACHNIDS!! :shades:

I doubt any of the hardcore fans will miss the 49ers play. But I expect rows 4 and beyond to be empty…

I agree. After the debacle Saturday, I don’t expect a huge crowd Wednesday.

So if Richmond beat X and X cleaned us up, then Richmond should throw us into the ground by 40 points?

No, because we beat Richmond. You know what that means…

Actually, I guess it just means that Xavier had no business losing to Richmond.

4 rows? wow.

Normally I would not like it if fans left early to catch another game. I actually became more interested in watching the UNC-State game at Piccasso’s on Saturday.

As bad as I hate to say this, you can bet that the UNC-Duke players and coaches will lay it all on the floor to try to get a victory. Do you sense that from our team?
Do you sense that from our team?
Yes, I do.

Do you have another non-point to make?

We have 3 playmakers folks. 3. It’s not that they’re not trying. Xavier, down 2 or 3 gusy, still had twice as many playmakers as us, and one of them was smoking hot.

It’s painful, but we just need to upgrade our talent if we want to win again.

I agree BigTime. We all watched the end of the State game. And most from our table left before the Niners’ game was over.
Yes, I do.

Everyone here knows that we need more talent, What is Your Point?

I’ll quote myself:
Would it help if I wrote it in crayon?
I agree. Now the question I pose to all of you, how long do we give Lutz to turn things around here? 2 years? More? Less?

Form an entirely different angle I say NO to this question… We don’t have that I hate you rival in the A10, it doesn’t feel like we are a part of this league, just a guest. I just don’t see then intensity in the program that we had 98-02…

Lutz needs another extension. Evidently, people enjoy seeing the Niners play sub .500 ball.

I was at Picasso’s Saturday, too, and though I ALWAYS stay for the end of our games at Halton, I left a little early then. Yes, I DID watch the UNC/NCSU game off and on, and frankly was more interested in it as it wound to a close than in seeing the 49ers get blown out. It won’t surprise me at all to see basketball fans leave our game to see Duke/UNC play. I won’t, but you can be sure it will be a better game.

Unless some of you want to get out that checkbook, he’s not gone until at least the end of the contract in 2 year. I don’t forsee a buyout in other words.

I think anyone that actually goes to the game will stay, but most people just won’t show up and instead watch the other game on TV.

In all honesty, what do you expect?

maybe Lutz will resign voluntarily and forfeit the final 1 or 2 years, for the good of his alma mater.

I may leave early on Wednesday. But I have to pick up my brother at the airport, so don’t boo me.

Would you resign if you made 500K a year to stink up the place…

I quit listening to our game at halftime and didn’t see the final score until I read the paper Sunday morning. I’m not that much of a glutton for misery to listen to that garbage. I did however, thoroughly enjoy the NC State/UNC game. Personally, I don’t give a crap about the ACC and I detest UNC, but I’m a fan of “good” college basketball. That was a great game and if you are a fan of the sport, you couldn’t help but enjoy it. I miss the days of seeing our fans rush the court after a big win like that. It was far more entertaining than any Niner game I’ve seen this year with maybe the exception of Wofford because that was a great game to watch, despite the weak opposition. I just wish our games were half as entertaining as some of the ones I saw this weekend.
