Here in Raleigh on the sports radio station, on their top of the hour sports update, the first thing they mentioned about college bball was that Charlotte was entering in the polls at #23 for the first time since whenever, before going on and mentioning the ACC movement. Granted it was very brief, and not really on any show, but I was surprised at any mention at all.

I’ll take the National exposure over local exposure anyday. So much for sneaking up on anybody the rest of this year. Can’t wait to see how the team handles to role of hunted instead of the hunter. [/b]

That was the headline on the AP story when it moved on the wire. They focus on changes, and you guys were the change this week. Those websites picked up the story without rewriting the hed. It’s not like they put any thought into it.

anybody else see the irony here?

Bobby Lutz and the Niners have been all over the local TV news/radio this week!!! Co-workers have even commented on it to me. Wow, Lutz is everywhere. Great coverage in my opinion.

As we can all see…it’s all about winning and getting into the top 25. That’s when we get the extra buzz for non-Cinci games. Same thing can happen in the A-10. Depaul is on the same level as Temple, Dayton, Xavier, St. Joes and UMASS in my opinion. Just win, baby!!!
