Now that I’ve seen the fanfare we got on the front page of the sports section today, I’m a lot happier. I still wish it was the second largest headline in the Sunday paper instead of the Monday one, but it is large, exciting, and made me want to reread the article

Our deadlines for print aren’t the best anymore. There was no way it was going to make Sunday. But it did make what we call the “ear” on the front page, where we refer inside to what we think are best/most interesting things inside the paper

That’s okay, I can understand that. I’m just happy to see that.
Might be a tall task, but I know yall used to have a Charlotte 49ers tab on the sidebar of the website underneath Sports. It’s gone now and it might be nice to have it back.
If it’s possible to get the bubbles back on the second page of the sports section which name the time and date of home games for Panthers, Hornets, CLTFC, Knights, Checkers, and 49ers, that would be great. They’re all buried in the ‘today’s games’ thing and aren’t even bolded.
the 49ers tab is visible when you go the main sports page. Not sure what you mean by bubbles
I looked for the Charlotte 49ers tab, as well. I’ll look again.

I don’t use my PC for the paper, I use mobile. I either use the app or the website. The website does not have that filter option on the sidebar anymore.
This is from the January 11th, 2022 paper. This is what I’m referring to as the “bubbles” in the top left.
On your mobile, you can scroll from left to route on the team etc names under Sports. CHARLOTTE 49ERS is 5th from the right between HIGH SCHOOLS and COLLEGES.

When you come to webpage on mobile just slide your finger along the different sections. Charlotte is off to right.
On that sidebar, I asked about Charlotte being added back but apparently there are going to be less choices forthcoming, edict from California.

That’s a print thing. I’ll ask about it. But we’ve just been running straight TV listing and not those logo’d parts anymore.
