Langston, next game we want you there. Bring Scott and others, especially if our streak continues. Something special is brewing on our campus; basketball, football, etc. Let’s enjoy the ride together.

Men’s soccer wins AAC tourney.

Football had a whole ESPN docuseries last season.

Men’s basketball on an 8 (hopefully 9) game winning streak.

Women’s basketball has Dazia Lawrence with her 1000th point last game and she played on the USA 3x3 team.

Women’s soccer has a new head coach and they’re growing together.

Baseball and Softball are preseason ranked at #2 in the AAC.

Were getting a new women’s lacrosse team next season.

Track & Field is just killing it in some areas.

I mean, we’re kinda killing it all-around. Our only real weak point is volleyball right now.

I hope, if we take care of business, the obsever will continue to cover us. We played a passionate game, on the road, against a co-conference leader. Sure, we lost but it was a great game. At the beginning of the year no one expected us to be there. We are now.

The Charlotte community need to know this as much or more than we blew the lead. It was fair coverage. I prefer that over we do not exist.

I hope the coverage prior to our next game will promote us in such a way that it drives community interest and inspires attendance. I, for one and I am sure many others, appreciate Langston’s engagement and promotion.

I though the article was good and fair. Glad Langston was the writer. Imagine the “digs” that would have been planted in the article if Scott Fowler wrote it.
