so presumably the center court ref who is watching the pass around mid court called a foul under the basket because he had a whole second to run down for a look. The guy to the right side of the basket had a clear view and he did not raise his hand.

Of course this doesn’t matter, the right team won. Justice served.

The “center ref” is standing between the 3-pt line and the free throw line. The area under the basket is in his zone and he made the call. I just saw the replay again on SportsCenter - the whistle WAS blown. It was a good job by the refs.

Purdue-IU game officials erred

Looks like they shouldn’t have counted the bucket after all, not that it mattered.

Anyone notice they can make it 7 of the last 8, and 4-1 in the Big Ten tonight against OSU?
