Integrated Marketing Campaign... wtf

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte has announced that a local agency, Tattoo Projects, has been selected to assist the university in the development of an integrated marketing campaign. Tattoo Projects will help UNC Charlotte develop creative strategy and implementation plans....

Yet when I go to their website, and click on flash projects, it does NOTHING. I mean, what the hell? We use someone who’s own website doesn’t even work? I tried it in two browsers…

What are we thinking here?

Now these guys: http://www.studiobanks.com/ on the other hand do EXCELLENT work, are owned by a Charlotte Alum, and I’m pretty sure are relatively affordable.

Works for me…

Central, I had no problem with their site working for me. Can’t comment much on their work. List of clients show Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, DEI, John Deere…

Why not use the same firm selected for football? They pulled an awesome campaign out of their hineys in like a week.

Looks interesting. I’m interested to see what they come up with.

Would it be inappropriate to share our thoughts with them??

From their contact page, it looks like they offer a tattoo after each job. I wonder what Phil will get???

LGA could be doing the creative work and theme ideas, while Tattoo could be focused on the actual implementation and strategy of the campaign (where, when, how, etc.).

Hmm works now in both Chrome and Firefox, maybe their hosting was messed up when I looked earlier. Looks like they have some creative stuff.

Well there's your problem right there. God forbid we get people who would do whatever they can to do right by this university.

Same reason we threw out the Statmats study which said ‘UNC Charlotte needs to change it’s name’ then covered up the report.

Tattoo’s stuff looks great and very modern and cutting edge, but “mature” is not one of the things I saw on their website. They are probably the only firm that promissed to ignore any name change option.
