Nince article about prospect tyler lewis talked about his game and schools in the hunt for him:picked up offers from NC State, Miami, Baylor, Wake, VCU and Richmond while getting interest from Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina
has heard good things about the new coaching staff and on lutz “At first I was really kind of upset because Coach Lutz was one of my favorites.”
Considering we’re the only school that would let his brother walk-on vs. other schools wouldn’t give his brother the time of day, I’m thinking he has to come here because he owes us.
im sure a lot of schools would have let him walk on. he was a borderline division one prospect. he had multiple division two and division three offers so lets not pretend that he was only allowed to walk on here because of his brother, although im sure that helped. this kid is probably the best walk on we have ever had.

Why isn’t Harris the best walk on we have ever had? He did start almost every season?

he never played for us as a walk on.
He does have a nice looking shot from what I’ve seen, although it does appear to be a bit slow. He’s got decent size. I hope Major can develop some of his other skills so that he can maybe be a contributor. I don’t count on that happening because it rarely does with walk-ons, but he wasn’t a bad player for a decent team in high school. He comes from a basketball family, so I’m sure he has a solid understanding of the game. He’s not Tyler though.
