The Power of Gold by Dan Fogelberg
Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey
Kick Start my Heart
-Motley Crue
Ecstasy of Gold and transition to For Whom the Bell Tolls for the player entrance
Orā¦how about a song that actually gets people excited?
There has to be a better option than divorced dad rock
This thread is one of the saddest Iāve ever seen.
Nothing I would suggest would go over well. Donāt think there is much musical taste overlap.
This thread is exactly why I hate public music. There is so much variation in musical tastes, so why violate the ears of the many to accommodate the few?
Fucking noise.
A little respect, please.
Note the part about the Chicago NHL team using this as part of their intro.
Iāve given up with music for our program - intros or 3rd quarter.
The AD doesnāt seem to understand what kind of music needs to be played for these moments and how to go about sourcing it.
The intros needs to have an epic sound that bleeds into fight song and 3rd quarter needs to be a sing along or some sort of crowd engagement.
I honestly donāt care what the specific song is just ridiculous we make this so hard.
Just do the panthers player intro music from last year
Any intro music that isnāt some form of hip hop /rap/non slow stuff isnāt hyping up the crowd. I may be the minority but the halftime band stuff is boring unless they are redoing some form of top hit thatās been played on the Grammys or mtv music awards show from the last 30 years.
I like some of the newer country music but most do not belong in an intro. Same with rock and gospel. Save those for in game.
I donāt think thatās fair. Itās doesnāt matter the genre. Itās just has to work. 2001 is a great example. Enter sandman is another. Two VERY different songs that were old when they started getting used but it clicked.
